Pilates is a method of movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. It has proven invaluable in fitness, sports and ballet training, in physical rehabilitation, and overall well being. Through Pilates you build strength and stamina while improving flexibility, balance, and posture. One also learns how to connect mind and body and feel the results of an engaging workout. The Pilates promise is that you will bene-FIT!
Amy Puccinelli, the class instructor, holds national certifications in group exercise and personal training. She also holds a variety of other certificates, including mat Pilates, yoga, and strength training work for seniors.
One-hour classes are held in our spacious parish hall overlooking a beautiful hillside garden. The class is open to all. Machines are not used; instead bring a yoga mat (preferred) or a beach towel.
Classes are normally held at 10 AM each Tuesday. The cost is $15 per class. Drop-ins are wlcome.
