Prayer Chain

Members of the prayer chain offer daily intercessory prayers for those who are ill, dying, or distressed. We believe that God hears our prayers, and that they can help speed recovery of those we pray for. We keep abreast of the status of our prayer receivers and update our prayer list every few weeks.

Stephen Ministry

The Stephen Ministry is a caring ministry of lay people that provides one-on-one pastoral care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. Stephen Ministers understand, listen, and pray for and with their care receivers. However, they do not give advice, make judgments, or offer solutions. Rather, they serve as accepting and confidential sounding boards when others need to talk. Stephen Ministers and their care receivers usually meet about once a month. Senior members of the program train, commission, and supervise new Stephen Ministers.
