Members of our Acolyte Guild (9-years old and up) play an important part in our Sunday Worship services. The word “acolyte” means “one who helps”.
Acolytes light the candles, help set the altar for communion, present the alms basin during the offertory, and assist with ablution. Serving as an acolyte is a great way for our younger members to learn about the church’s ritual and liturgy, and feel they are a part of them.
